Tour detail
This safari experience offers an extraordinary opportunity to feel closer to nature, being immersed in the raw beauty of the wilderness. The wide open landscapes, the unique sounds of wildlife, and the unpredictability of animal encounters foster a deep connection with your surroundings. Whether you're visiting as a wildlife specialist, or wanting to capture your own safari memories, using a camera or binoculars enhances your experience, allowing for a greater appreciation of distant or illusory wildlife. Binoculars bring the subtle movements of animals into focus, revealing details that would otherwise go unnoticed. Meanwhile, a camera helps capture these moments of wonderment, turning them into lasting memories to share. Both your camera and binoculars encourage mindfulness, patience, and a deeper awareness of the intricate ecosystems of East Africa, making your experience more enriching and personal. Safaris also offer the ultimate environment to hone your photography skills and capture breathtaking moments, connecting stories with imagery.
You will be accompanied by an expert nature guide who will provide insights into the wildlife you encounter, along with Alessandro, a wildlife photographer with over six years of experience. Alessandro will share techniques and tips to elevate your photography skills. Throughout the tour, you will be immersed in natural environments where animals roam freely, and it is crucial to respect both the wildlife and their habitat as we capture these moments with our cameras. At the end of each day (except for the designated free day), Alessandro will conduct a session covering the fundamentals of photography, advanced shooting techniques, and essential knowledge in biology and ethology to deepen your understanding of wildlife and nature. Each day will also begin with a workshop to introduce the day's focus, followed by outdoor photography sessions. Additionally, we will offer post-production classes using Premiere Pro, Lightroom, or Photoshop to enhance your images and create professional-quality results.

Our T&C
1. Your contract
By booking a trip with Fania Adventures Tours Ltd (FAT) you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Terms and Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and FAT) and your booking will be accepted by FAT on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice.
2. Deposit requirement and acceptance of booking
You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit, per person, per trip, for your booking to be confirmed. Deposit value varies and is specified on your booking invoice. If your booking is made after the due date for additional payment instalments, then the deposit, and all overdue instalments are required to confirm your booking. If FAT accepts your booking, and once your deposit has been received, FAT will issue a booking confirmation invoice. A contract will then exist between FAT from the date of the booking confirmation invoice.
3. Payment instalments
Following the initial non-refundable deposit, the following payments will be due:
Final Payment (the balance) is due 4 months before departure date, and is non-refundable and non-transferable to other FAT offerings.
If any of these payments are not paid on or before their due date, FAT reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
4. Cancellation by the guest
After each payment is made, they become non-refundable and non-transferable to other FAT offerings. A cancellation will only be effective when FAT receives written confirmation of the cancellation, or if required payments are not paid on or before their due date. If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced, FAT is not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refunds will be made.
5. Cancellation by FAT
FAT may, at its sole discretion, cancel any tour prior to departure. If FAT cancels your tour, you can opt to receive a refund of the booking Value (defined below).
FAT is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
All our tours are subject to minimum numbers. FAT may, at its sole discretion, cancel any tour due to minimum numbers not being reached. Please do not purchase your flights or any additional travel services based on our tour until the tour is 100% confirmed for departure. Please confirm with FAT before you purchase your flights to check if your tour is 100% confirmed yet.
** Note that the ‘Booking Value’ refunded or credited will be calculated as the full funds received on the booking (or unused portion if tour already underway), less any government mandated, regulatory imposed, or non-FAT owned or operated services which have not matched our terms and are not imminently recoverable by FAT. In lay terms, FAT will try and recover as much money as it can on your behalf to return to you, but any portion that FAT has already spent and cannot get back, will be unable to be returned to you. Note that while FAT endeavors to work with our networks of logistics partners to secure the most flexible terms possible, their refund and cancellation policies will be determined at their sole and unrestrained discretion, and may at times result in the majority of booking value becoming non-recoverable, and thus non-refundable, especially for short-notice cancellations or cancellations after a tour has commenced. Note too that if any not imminently recoverable costs from non-FAT owned or operated services are only available as a credit for a specific future FAT tour (and not as a refund) and the guest is unable to book that specific future tour to which the credit would apply, then that portion of the booking value is considered non-recoverable. At the time of issuance of any such credit or refund, FAT will clearly communicate what costs are not recoverable and have been deducted, or if any alternate options are available such as tour postponement.
6. Change of guest
If you wish to transfer your tour booking to a third party, it may sometimes be possible, but you must notify FAT at least 45 days prior to the proposed departure date. A fee of $100 per person, per change, will apply (in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators etc). If you notify FAT less than 45 days prior to the proposed departure date, the refund policy applicable to cancellations will apply. Transfers to a third party are only permitted where the transferee meets all the requirements in relation to the tour. So, if you wish to transfer your booking, it’s best you talk to FAT early and we will do our best to let you know how practical it is in your situation, and there is no guarantee.

Travel insurance is compulsory for all FAT tour guests and should be taken out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the categories of cover.
